While a flower pushing up through a crack in the sidewalk may be endearing, it's not safe. Concrete sidewalks are everywhere homes, schools, businesses, churches, and they are destined to break down. Cracked and broken sidewalks are a tripping hazard, and much as we dont like it, a legal liability. Minor cracks can quickly become a major problem as cracks grow exponentially.
